Hi Madocter,

first off, I'd like to point out, that you're doing a great job and everyone (except for a handful of retards) loves playing on this nostalgic server alot.
I'm a pretty new player by myself (started like 6 days ago) though I came through a little bit of things, you might wanna change and which will help to increase the servers population. I'd also like to point out, that I know what I'm talking about, since I've been working on a pretty big Linage2 project in the past (not mentioning the servers name here but it had more than 5k real active players, 10k+ online due to boxes, which was pretty good back then for a lowrate server).

Top Lists and Voting
Add the Server to the most known TopLists (and update those the Server is listed with old rates..) for Lineage II Servers and encourage your players ingame to vote.
You can reward your playerbase with some little events like:
If we get 250 Votes in the next 60minutes - XP Rate or Adena Rate will be x3 for 30 minutes (just some little things)

Restructure Forum
Try to get a bit more of structure into the forum. The MainPage is ok as it is, explaining how 2 connect, and the servers rates. The forum on the other side is a lil bit of a mess. Make some more stickys or add a better structured F.A.Q. Forum, especially a new players zone containing all informations a newbie could need. Also many of the questlinks in the guide forum aint working anymore.

Marauder License & Shop
I don't know how or why u offer that service, but people buying this will mostly abuse it to farm low level players. I don't know if anyone purchased it yet, but I got the feeling some ppl have since they found me over and over again on the weirdest spots just to PK me. It's frustrating for newer players and makes em quit fast. About this topic also check newbie protection
Offer some cosmetic items, like demon horns, festival masks in the Donation Shop (ppl can buy em for coins of luck then). It will increase the income of donations by alot. Trust me, at the project I worked on, the income doubled the month we put that stuff into the shop, and its not game affecting at all.

Newbie Protection
Since this server got a little problem with retards, killing new ppl in nograde while wearing top c, u should consider adding a newbie protection buff to the game that those can use upto level 30?!

NoGrade Weapons, Quests and Shots
To make the start just a little bit more simple for newer players, you should consider adding Soulshot and Spiritshot (NoGrade) as extra Rewards to the low level quests in the starting towns. Also change the lower nograde weapons though they can use soul and spirit shots. It's not game breaking, but if ppl encounter such benefits right of their start on this server, they will be much more attached to it and stay here.

Newbie Buffs
Change it that way, that they can be overwritten by stronger buffs of the same type.



This are just some thoughts. It's open to discussion though, I hope u'll think about some of them.

Just to point out.. some buffs actually will overwrite the newbie buffs.. like greater empower 3, and haste 2.. and others like might 3 won't overwrite the might 1 from newbie buffer... So maybe restructuring that for all the buffs could be good, but then again some people might rather have a weaker buff for 2hs than a better one that lasts 20 mins only and then maybe have to go back to town because the guy who buffed you with a few good buffs that replaced 1 or 2 of your newbie buffs isn't there anymore.

I have not marauder license but server have pk protection system to newbies, in normal conditions if they not attack me i can't touch them. Its so easy to me find you if you telling in trade "looking party for raid 30" then i just check all raidboss thats still alive, also i check vietnam spot every day near giran harbor.

you telling me i easy find same newbies but those are the retards who still farming in same site , so if you want that your breath does not smell like onion eat something different obiously
